Photographers took many funny pictures of wild animals this year. Judges selected the best photos for the 2026 Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards. The photos show animals in nature during silly and surprising moments.

One photo shows a giraffe standing in front of a tree in Kenya. The tree leaves look like a green hat on top of the giraffe's head. Another photo shows a water buffalo surfacing from a lake in Sri Lanka while wearing flowers on her head. A third picture shows two young brown bears that appear to share a laugh while playing.

look like= 看起來像某個事物appear to= 根據外觀看似正在做某事

Photographers had to wait patiently to capture these natural moments. None of the scenes were staged or arranged. The funny pictures help people appreciate animals and protect wildlife.

staged or arranged= 刻意為拍照而佈置,而非自然發生的

Judges will announce the winners of the competition on December 8.
