Harry Kane Becomes Fastest Player to Score 100 German League Goals

Harry Kane has broken a record for speed in German football. The striker scored his 100th league goal in only his 98th game for Bayern Munich.

only his 98th game= 強調達到目標所需的場次極少

The previous record holder needed 129 games to reach 100 goals. That record stood for 49 years. Kane broke the record much faster because he scores nearly one goal in every game.

stood for= 表示紀錄等在一段時間內保持未被打破

Kane reached the milestone during his team's 7-0 victory. He scored his 100th goal with a penalty kick in the 39th minute. Early in the second half, he scored his 101st goal with a header.

Early in the second half= 在下半場剛開始或初期階段

After the game, Kane said he was very proud of the achievement. He thanked his teammates, coaches, and staff for helping him score so many goals.

proud of= 對所取得的成就感到自豪和滿意
