Many people change how they act when they go on holiday. A new study shows that six out of ten travelers deliberately behave differently away from home.
Travelers often feel free to break their usual daily routines. For example, almost four out of ten people buy items they do not need because the items remind them of the trip. Other people stay out late at night because they do not want to waste their holiday time.
Some travelers feel surprised by their choices after they return home. The study suggests that our habits at home are more flexible than we think.
